Welcome to Dealersdiary, a website that I hope will help us all make a bit of cash to pay for the kids' education, or at least, lose less.Trading, especially day trading, is all about cash management.You are trading numbers, the underlying stock, index, commodity etc should be treated as irrelevant. Day trading is about tight stops and running the winners.

I speak to traders, institutions, spread betting firms and investigate all other avenues that might give me some extra insight into what is the trade of the day. You know it is rare to get everyone agreeing (that is what makes the market) so that means no one really knows, especially now. So if you think that essentially anyone you pay to make decisions on your behalf doesn’t really know, therefore they are gambling with your money, does that make sense?. There are other factors that may make them trade with your money that are not altogether aligned with your objectives.You are paying them for one, they feel obliged to make decisions, based on benchmarks, bonuses, trends, things that shouldn’t be effecting ‘your’ money. They should treat every penny as their own....and they just don’t. If I am going to lose money then I want to do it myself and not pay someone who doesn’t really know me to lose it on my behalf...
